This class is all about curiosity, play, and discovering what watercolor can do. Experimenting with Watercolor invites students of all experience levels to loosen up and explore a wide range of techniques without pressure or perfection.

We’ll dive into washes, layering, texture, mark-making, resist techniques, and happy accidents—learning how water, pigment, and paper interact in surprising and beautiful ways. You’ll be encouraged to experiment, take risks, and follow your intuition while building confidence in your process.

This class is ideal for beginners who want to get comfortable with watercolor, as well as experienced artists looking to break habits and try something new. You’ll leave with a collection of expressive pieces that stand on their own or can be used later in collage and mixed-media work.
