Magpie Art Center, a charming farmhouse reborn as an art studio in Sedalia, is hosting a Creative Renewal Retreat the weekend of Feb. 28 and March 1. The time is intentionally planned to focus on your creative potential in a supportive, small group setting.

Remember, renew, revive, and refuel.

More than an art workshop or a way to unwind and socialize, we will spend the hours together working through the essential stages of any creative idea: Plan, Process, Perfect, Present.

What to bring? ideas, goals, blocks, unfinished stuff, uncertainty, frustration, inspiration…whatever stirs the need to create.

What is provided? technical support, art materials, space, constructive critique, instruction, creators, beverages, snacks.

What can you work on? simmering ideas, garden plans, unfinished artwork, designs, dreams, decorating, writing projects, failures, questions, frustrations, inspirations.
